A Day of Business Collaboration, Knowledge, and Growth in West Yorkshire
Leeds Beckett’s Knowledge Exchange is set to host the next DARETOGROW / Live event on Friday 7th February, bringing together entrepreneurs, business owners, and creatives for a day of networking, business growth and personal development.
The event, led by motivational speaker and business coach Lisa Bean, will take place in the heart of Leeds at the Knowledge Exchange’s modern business hub in the Rose Bowl.

Designed to spark new ways of thinking about business growth, sales, and marketing, the day will blend a practical business growth workshop with structured breakout networking to support local entrepreneurs as they ‘dare to grow’ in 2025.
Lisa Bean shared her passion for bringing DARETOGROW to Leeds:
“Live events like this are powerful. They don’t just connect people; they bring energy and momentum that online events can’t replicate. It’s about creating new, refreshing ways to network—where people leave with tangible strategies and a renewed belief in what’s possible for their business. We’ve already run two events like this in Newcastle and one in Leeds. Follow the demand from these events, we look forward to running the first event of 2025 at the inspiring Leeds Beckett Knowledge Exchange. It’s a space we can really grow into”.

Five students from the University will also be invited to join the event to build real world skills in networking, make connections with employers and experience the practical side of marketing and business growth.
Speaking about a previous DARETOGROW / Live event, specialty Food and Drink Photographer Sue Todd commented: “Lisa totally knocked it out of the park today with her first ‘DARETOGROW’ event and it was so, so good to be there. A room full of fantastic people, in a great space. Everyone working alone and together ‘on’ their business while connecting with people at the same time in a totally supportive and enriching environment. My head is buzzing, with ideas, with things to do, with just the day actually. Such a great day and it’s lifted me more than I can explain.”
